So often, power claims on paper don’t translate to real world performance. But when my re-mapped ecu arrived in the mail, I couldn’t wait to install it.
I’d been a little disappointed with my previous mods – the 3” exhaust, snorkel, intercooler, boost tee and CCT all gave small improvements as they were installed, but none pushed me into my seat.
Once the remapped ecu was installed though, everything came together in a profound way. It started straight away, sounded smoother and Just backing the car out of the driveway, it felt stronger. Taking off in first gear brought a huge smile to my face, then after passing through a few more gears, I knew this was something special. The torque surge is so strong now that it literally pushes me back in my seat. Acceleration is effortless and even fifth gear feels strong up hills! Overtaking is a joy and I have confidence the old Nav will respond willingly to my every command.
